poor 986

01-20-10 10:25am

1)passenger front tire blew
2)spun , went under fence
3)Adrenaline = fun
4)picture time
5) cops got here
6) tow truck dragged it out
Very Happy

and of course I came out unharmed since im young and strong Very Happy




word from shop:
all 4 suspension broke
front is pretty done...

next step,
another boxster Very Happy
or rebuild this one ground up with super wide body

Good to hear that you are okay. That is the only thing that really matters. How fast were you going? The only reason I ask is because that does not look like a normal accident to me. Having one tire go usually does not cause a car to end up in a ditch like that. Wink

By the way, where is that? Looks like a little highway in a bunch of farm land. Laughing Out Loud

crashing the car is not the worst part...right after I got out the
car, I stepped on a big puddle of smushy brown mud (horse sh*t)

ahahah, I know huh...

ummm...not sure yet! have to see what the insurance going to do.
the estimated damage is around $8-9k

wide body!!! Very Happy

If that estimate goes a little higher they could have considered your car "totalled". In terms of expense over the price of the car....

Steve, is it an initial estimate or did the shop do the tear down? I have a feeling it will go much higher once they do the tear down and find more stuff under there.
