I have a 2004 Boxster S and having weird clutch issues. I push the pedal and feel a slight vibration in the pedal. And once in a while does not dis engage. I believe it is the throw out bearing but not sure.
BTW does anyone have an idea about what it cost to change clutch plate, throw out bearing, and clutch disk. |

I think AsianImage did his clutch a little while ago. He should be able to help you at least get a general idea about pricing. You can just call the shop and ask them for pricing as well. DO you plan to do the work yourself or are you going to take it into a shop to get worked on?

| That is something I don't want to tackle myself and would rather have someone do. I work on my wifes BMW, or VW but am scared to tinker with newer Porsche |

Thanks for all the help Guys. I contacted Carlos at FastFoward and the price was not nearly as bad as I thought. In fact it was less than half what I was expecting.

Guys, just so the info is out here, the clutch job in general is around $1,200 parts and labor using all Genuine Porsche parts supplied by Pcars.com. 996 & 986
It is a whole day affair so be prepared to leave it for the day. By appointment is the best to ensure it can be tackled in the same day.
Call to schedule an appointment (323) 262-7365

Carlos quoted me a cap of $1100 which great . Walters quoted me $2000.00 . I am going to call ahead when I get the cash together .
He also said if I get it in by 9am it should be finished by about 4pm
I intend to take all my business here |
