Decoding a VIN number

Info for 911 VIN:

1st-3rd characters:
W = West Germany
P = Porsche
0 = place holder - no significant

4th-6th characters:
The "ZZZ" tells us it is rest of world - if other than "ZZZ" it is a North American car

7th-8th characters:
"99" tells us this is a 911; "98" - Boxster 987;

9th character:
Z is a place holder - no significant

10th character:
Let you know the model year, ex: 3=2003, 5=2005

11th character:
Is the place of production "s" = Stuttgart "u" = Finland (boxster / Cayman only) "L" = Leipzig (Cayenne or Panamera)

12th character:
Let you know the type Ex 3=993, 7=997, and 6=996

13th - 17th characters:
Is the vehicle's serial number

Can you Boxster guys tell me what are the 7-8th and 12th characters on your rides?
