A friend purchased a new Panamera 7 months ago. They have taken the car to the dealer 6 times already with different issues;

1. No Start, Alarm System

2. Keyless Entry, Not Functioning

3. Dead Battery

4. Keyless Entry

5. No Start, Key System

6. Fuel Pump

Anyone heard of problems with the Panameras?

Was he one of the first 200? I have a friend who has had several issues with their car and Porsche is seemingly acting clueless about whats going on. They were one of the first couple ones produced.

Welcome to Pcars, yes they were one of the first Panamera S owners in the LA area.

Porsche has already had one or two recalls on the first batch of Panameras. This is exactly why I don't like buying first year cars. :LOL:

So what if anything are they doing to fix the problem? Porsche comes up with these elaborate stories and says it fixed the problem each time. Its all complete bs. I know this person is fed up. I want to say they have taken the car there for atleast 7-8 times with atleast a total of 60 days in the shop for the same issue. Who has time to keep going to the dealer every 2-4 weeks.

6 or 7 times for the same issue qualifies that person to get rid of the car under the lemon law in California. I would suggest that the person contact a lemon lawyer for a consultation.

If they do not wish to go that extreme, they can always try a different dealership and see if the results change.

Lemon law has a lot of steps including it has to be the same major system issue. So far the car is holding up well last I heard. I was just curious if anyone else on here has a Panamera with any issues.

I myself like the older Cayenne's and the prices on the pre-owned market seem very reasonable for what is possibly the best SUV on the planet (AKA the Cayenne Turbo of course).

I would not say that the Turbo is the "best" SUV on the market. Due to it's bigger brakes it has to run larger wheels which in return make the tires thinner on the sidewall. This causes issues when you take the car off of paved ground. Honestly I think the S version is a much better all around SUV than the Turbo.

Then again, how many of these cars are ever going to see non-paved road. :LOL:

Haha, I think I am out. Especially considering I have not owned a bike since I was 10 or 11. I really have to get a bike though. It is a great workout.
