I personally think the idea is great, I believe it cost 1500-2000. Good ones will last over 2 years from what I've read. It's a cheap alternative to painting your vehicle (which will also bring down the resale value). Plus you can try something different from the ordinary (like flat black or maybe a Lambo orange). You can't tell me after a year or two of owning a silver car it wouldn't cross your mind to have a 'change of scenery.' I have had my car for 2 years and I can honestly say that I am still not bored of it at all. Then again I am probably a rarity when it comes to sticking to things. Oh well, as for the M3 look, I would have just gotten a white car and foiled just the roof black. I wonder how this stands up to washed and wax jobs as well as weather like extreme heat and cold.
