i was thinking about doing it till i saw the motor is $400

who needs license plates anyways Smile

Hey Sean,

The price is actually for the entire mechanism, not just the motor; however, you would need to develop/design some method for allowing the license plate to swing upward after the unit extends out.

If enough of you guys want something like this, let me know. I will make them. I'm tight on money so if theres enough interest, I'll make a prototype, then price it out after I know time and materials.
